I dont even have that much text generation mind to write blogs, i just got inspired by all the tech people i've seen writing. I've just woken up (its 1.30pm) and mind wanted to do this with no specific planned approach. Dumbing raw thoughts to see how it goes. Know i will re read this and feel corny about it.
So, i just got a free domain from name.com using the github student pack (shout out Linus) and deployed my first website using github pages. I'm planning to use part of this domain to write out thoughts i can look at in the future of my Tech career.
Technical knowledge
I'm currently studying for a Bachelors degree in IT at Kampala International University. Just completed my 2.2 semester and now i'm interning then heading to 3.1 in August this year. I really wish i had got into IT and Computing at a younger age, my resources where limited during childhood. During 10 - 17 i ocassionaly interacted with computers but even still couldn't fully experience computing, its only now as an adult (23) that i get the choice and exposure to computing. I really love computers and technology. I own my precious Lenovo X1 carbon 6th Gen i bought online - i love it.
I have these basic skills:
- Java Programming - good
- HTML
- CSS
- Web Development
- AI Prompting
- Python - basics
- JavaScript - exposed
- Graphics Design
- Operating System
- Software Engineering
- Systems Thinking
Its alot of others i cannot write here but still think are equally important, i'm so hungry to learn everything there is, about Computing. Its something i've been made to believe - anyone can do it, its not magic...only requires alot of discipline to learn, study and practice.
I use AI alot, mostly generative for day to day chat, its one magical invention by man, i wonder how much it will develop. I like to self-tutor it gives me alot of freedom and control over my learning pattern. I also dont like people alot so it evens out. I'm intending to go to campus and work on this idea i've been building and analyzing for weeks but not yet implemented. Will continue ...
